We Run the Hell
stale, putrid smells hanging down the walls, incontinence of
pain unseen, unwitnessed… the yellow bile is slowly dripping down the
catheter, unwanted serpent sucking the life out of its powerless martyr …
a world defined by metal rods that rust in saliva and fluids
…rust doesn’t eat the metal quick enough… it mirrors the decay in the
tissues and groins, in the teeth and bones of the animated creature who can’t
even envision hope…
white neon light, blind flickers, and sharp buzzes instead
of green grass and golden rays of the sun…
people move about their day, unblushing, in a shameless
silence, coins on their eyes…
cage after cage, a spiraling agony; there is no hell on the
other side, we run the hell… we run the hell!
Bile bears are kept in captivity, and their bile is
harvested for traditional medicine purposes. Their living is horrific; the bile
extraction process is inhuman. Bile
bears need our help. I think we all choose our causes wisely, and I am
a donor for their liberation and transfer in sanctuaries. I hope more people
will hear about their suffering.
