Empty Pages - a poem about the process of writing poems
paper pages attract words just like
a freshly laid tablecloth attracts grease stains
my soul becomes cleaner and cleaner
as the words migrate in the A4 cage
every empty page is a sign
of an overloaded brain
attacking windmills decorated with skulls,
scratching the crust of salty scars
every filled page is a sign
of a storm that came to a halt,
of a stray ship that made it to the coast,
of the rhythm of a story released.
